EuroExpress has selected a version of MobileFrame’s proof of delivery application. EuroExpress, a Europian based organization of haulers and couriers, will be using MobileFrame’s home delivery application for truck pickup inventory from a warehouse, then delivery and assembly of the furniture at the customer’s location. Prior to adopting MobileFrame’s platform, EuroExpress’ system for collecting such data was proven costly and ineffective. This is expected to be the first phase of a large deployment that will be rolled out as new warehouse distribution centers are loaded. HNTB has chosen MobileFrame to deploy their facilities airport inspection application. Previously, HNTB’s inspectors were entering data onto Excel spreadsheets while in the field, then later go back to the office and manually enter the same data into their Access database. This was obviously very time-consuming for the field workers and left a lot of room for human error. Allowing MobileFrame’s platform to automate this process has resulted in more efficient staff and has eliminated data entry errors. August 29, 2005 is a day that will be remembered forever. This was the day that Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast region and changed the lives of many people forever.
The Mississippi Alternative Housing Program was developed after FEMA awarded $281M to the State of Mississippi to fund moving the Katrina victims into more sustainable housing.
