The Only Complete Enterprise Mobility Solution

Sturgeon Services International is Pumping Out Work Orders with MobileFrame

Sturgeon Services International (SSI), formerly known as Sturgeon & Sons, has purchased MobileFrame’s work order automation with asset tracking application. SSI is an oil field services company in California, and was looking to automate their work order and asset tracking processes. Prior to implementing MobileFrame’s platform, Sturgeon Services International was completing their work orders in individual Excel spreadsheets per job. The tech would then email the completed spreadsheet to the office. SSI employs 10 clerks who are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the data for payroll and billing purposes. The same clerks had to then manually enter all of that data into Microsoft Dynamics and other backend office systems.  SSI found this process to be very time consuming, costly and prone to human error. With MobileFrame’s solution, not only do those clerks get to avoid all that manual data entry, but the company no longer needs to hire new IT staff to develop and manage applications. During the evaluation phase the SSI team particularly liked the simplicity of integrating our system with their back office systems.

The SSI team ran ROI calculations as they were building the business case before purchasing the MobileFrame software. They realized that the return is massive and will run over the lifetime of the project.  Some of the contributing factors to such a high ROI include:

  • Streamlining their work orders
  • Asset tracking operations
  • Eliminating manual data entry
  • Workforce is more efficient and productive

Businesses are pressed to do more with the same resources. Capital expenditures are more closely reviewed than ever before.  In this environment it’s paramount that every dollar invested in new technology drives a return that is measured in days, and not months or years.  MobileFrame’s unique, patented technology addresses that need head–on.  With the ability to adapt quickly and deploy literally overnight, no other mobile platform provides this type of acceleration of deployment of any custom application, integrated into any backend system.  MobileFrame accepts challenges to deploy custom applications live and synchronize those custom built apps over the air in real-time every day.  With this flexibility and ease of use, MobileFrame’s enterprise mobility software has allowed Sturgeon Services International to deploy their work order and asset tracking application and make changes as needed, without time-consuming and expensive development efforts.

“Sturgeon and Sons International understands that there is more to mobile applications than mere development. After seeing a demonstration of MobileFrame’s product, they knew that MobileFrame would be the best fit. They will now be able to make their development, deployment and overall project management a significantly easier job.”
