Xpera Group Inspects the Competition and Chooses MobileFrame

Los Gatos, CA (June 29, 2012) – MobileFrame LLC, provider of the only cross-device mobile application development platform that requires no custom coding to develop custom mobile apps, announces that Xpera Group, a litigation support services company, has chosen  MobileFrame’s Configurable Mobile Application TM for their field inspection solution.

Xpera Group specializes in expert witness search and placement solutions for prominent law firms throughout the country. They inspect homes as they are being built to ensure that the homes don’t have construction defects. If a defect is discovered on site, Xpera needs to take photos and notify the construction foreman so they can correct the problem before the area is covered up. In order to do all of this in a timely and efficient manner, Xpera knew they needed an electronic, mobile solution to eliminate all of their paper based forms. This is where MobileFrame’s Platform came in.

Mapes and Sprowl ‘Steels’ the Lead with MobileFrame’s Inspection Application

Communication Infrastructure Corporation Surveyed the Competition and Chose MobileFrame

Los Gatos, CA (December 22, 2011)MobileFrame LLC Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM Enterprise Software Solutions, provider of the only cross-device mobile application development platform that requires no custom coding to develop custom mobile apps, announces that Communication Infrastructure Corporation, a telecom surveying company, has selected MobileFrame’s software to create, dispatch and review electronic surveys.

Prior to implementing MobileFrame’s platform, Communication Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) was dispatching 55 engineers to customer locations to do cell tower site surveys where they would collect data such as line of site calculations, GPS coordinates, Visio drawings and photos. They saved all of this data in shared files instead of a central database, causing them to spend a lot of time trying to find the data as needed. They were also employing a staff of six quality control employees dedicated to reviewing the completed surveys, entering the data manually and creating reports for their customers. HNTB deploys airport inspection application with MobileFrame’s platform

HNTB has chosen MobileFrame to deploy their facilities airport inspection application. Previously, HNTB’s inspectors were entering data onto Excel spreadsheets while in the field, then later go back to the office and manually enter the same data into their Access database. This was obviously very time-consuming for the field workers and left a lot of room for human error. Allowing MobileFrame’s platform to automate this process has resulted in more efficient staff and has eliminated data entry errors. After seeing MobileFrame’s full-featured platform in action, HNTB was confident that it would meet their needs. General Electric selects MobileFrame for Fire Extinguisher and Water Valve Inspection automation

Migrating your Forms from Paper to Electronic Format – Don’t forget the Business Logic!

I had an awesome discussion today with a potential client that is interested in converting his current paper based inspection process into electronic format.   He was very enthusiastic about the prospect of getting rid of the mountain of paper in his office.  His enthusiasm got me thinking about not only the benefits of eliminating paper but ALSO the benefits of embedded business logic.   For example:  if an inspection failed he could require that his inspectors collect information about why it failed, capture  a picture of the damage or issue, maybe even record a voice note and associate it with the inspection.
