Corpac is a global supplier and trader of pipe and steel products and services, specializing in line pipe, standard pipe, OCTG, Conduit and structural products. They receive pipe from their fabricators and need to know what pipe was received and the associated information about that pipe. Prior to implementing MobileFrame, Corpac was collecting this inventory data with pen and paper. Corpac Steel knew that keeping track of assets and inventory is necessary to ensure timely maintenance and proper supply, but tracking so many varied assets and items on paper presented a lot of challenges. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Selects MobileFrame for Their POD Requirements

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults with cancer while advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of cancer and related diseases.   Dana-Farber receives several packages each day by FedEx and UPS into their mail room, which their employees must then deliver to the right person and track that the delivery was completed successfully. Prior to implementing MobileFrame’s Mailroom POD Application, this was being done on clipboard and paper. MobileFrame’s software will be used for many apps, but the next one on the list is to deploy a physical inventory count application. As with most companies, Dana-Farber has many supply cabinets across their buildings where employees can take what they need to do their jobs. Mobile Apps for NERC, FERC Compliance

Regulatory Compliance…..it’s a big issue that can’t be ignored. No matter what kind of utility company you are, from nuclear power to gas distribution, electric or water you all share some common challenges. The nature of the business calls for large teams of mobile employees who conduct inspections, maintenance and repairs in the field.  Most companies are still collecting that data on clipboards and paper, which means the office staff has to manually enter the data into your business systems. This manual process is error prone, requires excessive labor costs and even worse, it causes delays in getting access to the data needed to stay in compliance.

The key to solving this problem is to go paperless with a mobile app solution. The City of Chicago Department of Water, which is responsible for delivering a billion gallons of fresh water to the residents of Chicago and surrounding communities, switched from their previous highly limited solution to MobileFrame because of its flexibility and ease of use.

The City of Chicago Department of Water has some very significant responsibilities when it comes to maintaining clean drinking water for its citizens. Indianapolis Power and Light Puts a Lid on their Manhole Inspections Issues with MobileFrame

IPL is a leading provider of electric services to more than 470,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in Indianapolis and other central Indiana communities.  IPL needed to eliminate the paper forms used for manhole inspections, increase efficiencies and to make their data easily accessible to regulatory agencies. Because the software is specifically designed for mobility and fully customizable, IPL knew that MobileFrame would be a perfect fit.

Since manholes are considered the windows to the condition of America’s pipelines as well as a critical access point for storm water runoff and pollutants, it is very important to maintain their structural integrity. Terumo Medical Reinvents their Inventory Counts with MobileFrame’s Consignment Tracking Solution

Terumo Medical is a sister company to MicroVention, a rapidly growing medical device company that is pioneering the development of catheter-based technologies for the endovascular treatment of peripheral and cerebral vascular diseases.

Like MicroVention, Terumo Medical employs sales reps who are responsible for conducting inventory counts at various hospitals where their products are used. These reps need to reconcile the amount of physical inventory at the site with the records in their JD Edwards backend system.
