The Only Complete Enterprise Mobility Solution

Rug Doctor to use MobileFrame for route accounting and DSD

Rug Doctor has chosen MobileFrame to automate their DSD and Route Accounting.  Prior to adopting MobileFrame, Rug Doctor employed a hard-coded custom application running on DOS-based Symbol PDT 3100’s.  That application was developed in 2001 and Rug Doctor had trouble with it from the beginning.  Using MobileFrame, Rug Doctor plans to deploy a traditional DSD/Route Accounting application that allows their drivers to capture data about deliveries of product to stores, manage their supplies and machine inventories, and print out invoices at each stop.  After evaluating several mobile platforms, and considering offshore custom development, Rug Doctor chose MobileFrame for its flexibility, ease of use, and competitive price point.

Although application development tools are commonplace, those tools require costly, time-consuming development to create business applications. Moreover, such business solutions tend to be inflexible, requiring expensive custom programming whenever business processes change. As business processes evolve, MobileFrame’s software provides users with unparalleled flexibility to create new mobile applications of any degree of complexity, incorporating any mix of business processes, and to make changes to those applications on-the-fly.  With its flexibility and ease of use, MobileFrame’s enterprise mobility software will allow Rug Doctor to quickly deploy their mobile route accounting and DSD applications and make changes as needed, without time-consuming and expensive development efforts.

“Rug Doctor had plenty experience with mobility and the results of using a hard-coded solution. Namely, such solutions rarely work as desired and are extremely costly to update and/or maintain. When it came time to upgrade their mobile technologies, Rug Doctor knew they needed a more flexible, user-friendly solution. After evaluating several mobile platforms, Rug Doctor chose MobileFrame because our solution was the most technologically advanced, offering all the tools needed to make a mobility project succeed, while still being flexible and user friendly.”
