Leading Construction Contracting Firm Chooses Comprehensive Enterprise Mobility Platform to Enable Real-Time Business Decisions from the Field.
MobileFrame is excited to be participating in the upcoming Los Gatos High School Job Shadow Program on March 13th. This program was developed to enable high school students explore career possibilities by matching them with businesses, government agencies and individuals in their respective interest areas.
Business doesn’t just happen in the back office anymore and we’re living in a truly “mobile-first” world in today’s business environment. We’re looking forward to introducing the students to the world of enterprise mobility and showing them some behind-the-scenes workings of our software company.
Our day’s activities will focus on showing them real world examples of why mobility is so important today and how our software helps companies to streamline their business.
Together we’ll write an app that the students will deploy to their phones so they can show their parents, teachers and classmates what they’ve built. We’ll also include them in a marketing meeting so they can listen in (and contribute!) on strategies for generating awareness of MobileFrame solutions.
We’ll update this post during and after the event with pictures from the event, so be sure to check back!

MobileFrame, the leading enterprise mobility company, today announced that Performance Contracting Group (PCG) has selected MobileFrame as their mobility platform standard across the enterprise.
Performance Contracting Group is one of the leading specialty contracting companies in the United States. PCG is a large commercial construction company with roughly 7,000 employees based in over 50 offices across the country. The company provides a wide range of quality services and products to the industrial, commercial and non-residential markets.
PCG wanted to find a way to eliminate paper data collection in the field and manual data entry in the office. The company calculated the number of hours spent every year on manually entering time card data into their labor contract system and knew there had to be a better way. They knew that eliminating the manual data entry for this task alone would result in a significant return on investment.
After researching a number of enterprise mobile application development platform companies, PCG concluded that MobileFrame was the only vendor that could fully meet their requirements. MobileFrame software allows customers to deploy custom applications across all major operating systems and all devices with no coding required, which made PCG’s vendor decision easy and clear cut. MobileFrame allows the PCG team to design and deploy applications in a fraction of the time it would take with traditional custom coding tools. Continue reading

Sightpath Medical™ is the leading provider of mobile and fixed ophthalmic surgical solutions; available on demand when and where they are needed. The company provides simple, affordable ophthalmic surgical solutions for mobile refractive and cataract outsourcing. Nobody has a better reputation for its advanced technology, skilled ophthalmic technicians, personalized solutions and responsive support, which is just one of the reasons why Sightpath turned to MobileFrame when it was time to improve their operational efficiencies.
The company’s field technicians are responsible for assisting eye surgeons who are located in both rural and urban communities around the country. The Sightpath technicians are also geographically dispersed and don’t always have easy access to company locations to replenish their inventory. Instead, the technicians are sent shipments of inventory required for their upcoming surgery cases. In the past, each technician was required to manually enter data about the shipments received and inventory used every day into their business system. Tracking the movement of inventory and replenishing the technicians supply was always a complex process handled with a lot of manual data entry, human error and telephone calls to the office. As a result, the field service team had to spend a large portion of their time managing the manual processes instead of focusing on their customers.
