Running a mobile field service business can be incredibly difficult, especially when you consider the need to exchange information with multiple distributed workers in real-time.

Here at MobileFrame we have seen organizations that have tried everything to bridge this communication gap including:

• Equipping mobile workers with 2-way radios
• Utilizing Push-to-Talk based cell phones
• Sending text messages
• Calling workers directly

Edlund Company is responsible for developing and manufacturing innovative, operator-oriented stainless steel equipment for harsh food service environments. To keep track of all of the equipment and parts used, Edlund conducts a two-day physical inventory cycle count at the end of each fiscal year. Warnambool Cheese and Butter Factory (WCB), producers of high-quality dairy products for over 120 years, selected MobileFrame’s Configurable Mobile Application Solution to eliminate all paper based processes across the company.  WCB is one of the oldest dairy processors in Australia today and is a major producer of high quality dairy commodities such as cheese, milk powders, whey protein, butter and cream, for both domestic and export markets.

South Dakota Wheat Growers, an innovative grain and agronomy cooperative with many active members throughout the James River Valley in eastern North and South Dakota, has selected MobileFrame’s enterprise mobility software to increase efficiencies and productivity across the company. Wheat Growers was looking for a way to streamline the process that their agronomists, or sales people, used for their sales order entry process. The agronomists were collecting the data on paper then manually entering that data in their backend business systems.
